This notice explains what personal information VALTY Advisory (a service of Karam Data LLC d/b/a VALTY Advisory, Atlanta, GA) collects from visitors to advisory.valty.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language. If a term matters legally and is unclear, contact us and we will explain.
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide. When you book a working session, download the one-pager, or email us, we collect your name, work email, firm name, role, and anything you type into a form field.
- Booking details. When you schedule through Cal.com, we receive the meeting time, your stated role at the firm, and approximate number of portfolio companies.
- Usage information. We use Vercel Analytics and HubSpot analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. These tools set cookies that contain a random identifier, not your name.
- Technical information. Standard web-server logs capture IP address, browser, and referring URL.
How we use it
- To respond to inquiries, schedule working sessions, and deliver the services you requested.
- To send follow-up communications related to the Portfolio CISO Program. You can stop these at any time by replying with the word "unsubscribe".
- To understand which parts of the site are useful so we can make them better.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the site from abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share a minimum amount with service providers who run parts of the site on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
- HubSpot stores contact records and form submissions in our CRM.
- Cal.com handles scheduling.
- Google Workspace delivers our email and calendar.
Each provider is contractually limited to using the data only to deliver the service to us.
How long we keep it
Contact and booking records are retained while the relationship is active and for up to seven years after the last interaction for tax, audit, and legal reasons. You can request earlier deletion (see below).
Your choices
- Access or delete. Email privacy@valty.ai to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
- Opt out of analytics. Use your browser's Do Not Track setting or a tracker-blocking extension. We honor these signals.
- California and EU residents. You have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR (including data portability and the right to object). Email the same address and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Contact records are stored inside HubSpot under its enterprise security controls. We follow the same security practices we recommend to our clients.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, if we already have your email, send a short note so you are not surprised.
